ENCOURAGING INNOVATION AND RAISING AWARENESS AROUND THE NEED FOR DEVELOPMENT IN THE ENERGY FIELD

Beyond  recognizing pioneering research across the world through its annual award, the Global Energy Prize manages a range of programmes on science and innovation geared toward younger audiences and toward honoring superior media coverage on energy subjects.

The Energy of Adventure project is designed to reveal energy innovations in various spheres across the world and draw everyone’s attention to them. This program is oriented on local and global energy issues, inspiring people of all ages to think about potential solutions. It aims to illustrate how energy efficiency, energy conservation and energy security affect everyone.

The project totally reflects the Global Energy Prize’s mission to enhance the international cooperation in energy field through inspiring wide energy discussions important to every person. Participation in the project allows young generation representatives to look at energy from another angle – from the angle of a traveler.  It is one thing to read about, for example, Sayano–Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station and absolutely another thing to see it with one’s own eyes.
