“For 2020, we will see a decline in oil production from last year of about 8 % to about 514 million tonnes. For gas, the decrease will be between 4 and 6 % – about 700 billion cubic metres – and for coal, the dip will be 9 % to 401 million tonnes,” Shulgin told Rossiya-24.
“Electricity consumption will decline overall throughout Russia by about 2.7 % to 1.45-1.46 trillion kilowatt hours.”
But Shulgin made clear that “these are, for the moment, forecasts and not final figures for the year.”
