Global Energy Prize planned for Kazan in Russia’s Tatarstan

Plans call for the 2021 meeting of the Global Energy Association’s Global Prize International Award Committee meeting to take place in Kazan, in the republic of Tatarstan, in central Russia.

    The association’s president, journalist and television presenter Sergey Brilev, made the announcement at a meeting of the Mediaclub of Tatarstan’s representation in Russia.

    “This year we will stay true to our friendship with Tatarstan, not only in terms of media, but also by holding in Kazan a meeting of Global Energy’s International Award Committee,” the Tatar-Inform news agency quoted Brilev as telling the meeting.

    “We journeyed to Kaluga. Now we are heading to Tatarstan. And we will be going again to Tatarstan – Almetevsk, Nizhnekamsk.”

   The Association for the development of international research and projects in the energy sector – “Global Energy” – is a non-governmental organisation, created for the advancement and support of innovation within the realm of energy and for the development of cooperation in energy. The Association has been operating since 2002.

    Brilev has headed the Global Energy Association since February 2020.
