“In the foreground here is hydrogen energy and we have proposed that future export shipments of hydrogen from Russia to Spain be considered.
A Russian-Spanish agreement almost ready for signature calls for mutual recognition of education, qualifications and education records. An updated draft has been sent to the Spanish side on a bilateral agreement on social services aimed at ensuring pension rights for citizens of Russia and Spain for work performed on the territory of both countries.”
“Work is proceeding on a draft agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of national identity documents – an accord awaited by many of our fellow countrymen living in Spain.”
The two sides at the meeting exchanged information on the economic situation in Russia and Spain and trends in the development of trade and economic relations.
Novak noted that the COVID pandemic has had a considerable effect on trade, which decreased by 19 % in 2020 to $4.7 billion.
“This can and must be corrected,” he said. “We believe we will see a rise in trade turnover, in investments by both sides and in continued joint projects.”
