BP said in a statement that it was acquiring a 33 % share in Digital Charging Solutions, a joint venture with BMW and Daimler.
DCS is one of Europe’s leading developers of digital charging equipment for carmakers and vehicle fleet operators. This is a key step in developing electrification for companies in the auto manufacturing sector,
BP’s European charging networks will be integrated into the DCS network.
Its acquisition of the stake in DCS is subject to regulatory approval. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
