
U.S. capacity for storage devices to rise fourfold end-2021
Installed capacity of energy storage devices in the United States will rise by 4.5 GW by the end of 2021, according to the latest forecast issued by the Energy Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Energy. Total capacity will reach 6 GW – four times the level recorded at the end of 2020 – 1.5 GW.
