The government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi plans to provide half of electricity demand from solar power by 2030, according to the India Today, an Indian edition. To do it, the authorities of the Territory are going to make mandatory installation of photovoltaic panels on the roofs of government buildings.

Danish companies European Energy and Vestas plan to put into operation three of the world’s largest offshore wind turbines V236-15.0 MW. The power of each is 15 MW, and a rotor blade length is 236 metres. The project will be implemented four kilometres away from Frederikshavn, a Baltic Sea coast city, by 2024.

The Abu Dhabi National Power Company (TAQA) is working on a feasibility study for two ‘new power industry’ projects, the Emirati news agency WAM cites Farid Al-Awlaki, TAQA’s director for power industry. It’s about production of green hydrogen to be used for environmentally friendly steel production and creation of the green ammonia export facilities.
