New capacity additions of offshore wind power nearly triple in 2021
Worldwide growth of installed capacity of offshore wind power stations nearly tripled last year – in 2020, the figure stood at 6.3 gigawatts (GW), while in 2021 it climbed to 17.3 GW, according to figures compiled by Rystad Energy.
