Mongolia has decided to join the green energy agenda. The Prime Minister of Mongolia and the Chairman of the Mongolian People’s Party Luvsannamsrai Oyun-Erdene proclaimed the New Revival Policy at the 30th Congress of the Mongolian People’s Party, which is based on ‘the program of six types of revival at the beginning of the new century’.
The Canadian Company Enerkem has developed a revolutionary way of converting waste into ethanol and methanol. The proprietary technology is a thermochemical process converting the carbon molecules in household waste into the value-added products.
With warming of the climate, soils will not get warm at the same rate as the air, the conclusion drawn by a group of scientists from more than forty countries who have developed a global soil temperature map. The study covering the world’s major biomes was conducted with the participation of the scientists from the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS). The results were published at the Global Change Biology journal, which has been published for a quarter century.
