Electric vehicle sales in Latin America double in 2021
Sales of new electric vehicles in Latin America reached 24,600 units in 2021, which is twice as much as the 2020 sales. (11,400). Over 80% of the sales were in Brazil (13.2 thousand), Mexico (4.6 thousand) and Colombia (2.7 thousand), as BloombergNEF says.
