Global Energy has evaluated operation of the digital twin of the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field

William Byun and Dmitri Bessarabov, members of the International Award Committee of the Global Energy Prize, visited the Production Control Centre of Gazpromneft-Khantos, which is the operator of the Yuzhno-Priobskoye field, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. The visit allowed us to see a digital twin of the field allowing efficient management of the well stock and the whole production cycle.

India to commission a wind-solar farm in the southwest of the country

Solar Energy Corporation of India has selected the Indian company TPSL, a subsidiary of electricity company Tata Power, to be the operator of the wind-solar power plant construction in the state of Karnataka, the southwest of the country. According to the Energy World, an industry publication, the 600 MW project will be implemented over the next two years.

Bhutan to build three small HPPs to supply its remote areas

Electricity company Druk Green Power Corporation (DGPC) will build three small 104 MW hydropower plants (HPPs) in the Kingdom of Bhutan. One of them will be built in the Haa region, western Bhutan, and the other two in the Lhuntse and Zhemgang regions, the eastern part of the country, the Kuensel publication reports.
