“World energy is undergoing the time of transformation, including the geopolitical one. In this period, it is essential to think freely to develop both the art of journalism and the energy sector. Independent expertise is currently of immense value. That is why, sectoral news interest more and more of our people. In this regard, the role of media that are covering the most important events and trends constantly for the wider audience, is gaining momentum,” Alexander Novak emphasised in his address to the contest winners.
“It is encouraging that this prize continues to be awarded. Journalists, analysts, media and PR specialists one way or another connected with energy, are happy people. Happy because they constantly have to improve their professionalism, and happy because they never have to be bored and never have to complain about the lack of work. Energy is what develops us, energy is what becomes an object of hope for entire nations, energy is what drives entire nations to despair in its absence, energy is what becomes an object for the criminal designs of terrorists, as we saw in the case of Nord Stream. Finally, energy is what the future of all mankind, including our country, is connected with. I congratulate everyone who took part in the competition, and sincerely wish you not to slow down!” Dmitry Peskov said.
