The Association’s Honorary Diploma for Russian Scientists

It was established in late 2020 as recognition of a fundamental contribution of the scientists who have devoted their lives to science and to the development of Russia’s energy industry. The monetary prize associated with the diploma amounts to 1 million rubles.
Recipients of the Honorary Diploma for Russian Scientists:
 

2020 – Viktor Maslov, expert in Mathematical Physics, Mechanics, and Quantum Physics.
 
2021 – Igor Grekhov, expert in the field of high-power semiconductor electronics and pulse technology.
 
2022 – Yury Vasilyev, SPbPU Rector (1983-2003), outstanding specialist in the field of hydropower, founder of the organisation of integrated environmental research related to energy and water construction, energy saving and environmental problems of the energy sector.
 

The Association’s Honorary Diploma for Foreign Scientists

It was established in 2022 for researchers from foreign countries to encourage their contribution to the development of regional energy industries.

Recipients of the Honorary Diploma for Foreign Scientists:

2022 – Luke Chika Eme (Nigeria) expert in water resources and engineering.

2023 – Andrew Amadi (Kenya) CEO of the Kenya Renewable Energy Association (KEREA), expert in energy efficiency issues, actively taking part in energy audits and the creation of energy service companies.

2023 – Ruben Chaer (Uruguay) professor of the University of the Republic in Montevideo, manager of the Uruguay’s Administration of the Electricity Market, key developer of the SimSEE platform for simulation of electric power systems, which is widely used in Latin American countries.

2023 – Mihael Alemu (Ethiopia) CEO and co-founder of 10 Green Gigawatt for Ethiopia, a company established with the purpose of overcoming Ethiopia’s energy deficit by designing, producing, and installing solar panels.

2023 – Vicente Horacio Lescano (Argentina) the researcher from the National Technology University, developer of the system for monitoring the conditions of nuclear reactors allowing to track the vibrations in the NPP structures and to obtain signals about equipment failures in the automatic mode.

2023 – Ljubivoje Popovic (Serbia) developer of a methodology that makes possible to determine the relevant characteristics of high-voltage and ultra-high-voltage cable lines.

2024 – Isolda Costa (Brazil) Director of Brazil’s Nuclear and Energy Research Institute (Instituto de Pesquisas Energéticas e Nucleares, IPEN.

2025 – Swinage Chikwedze (Zimbabwe), Board Member, Ravensus, Fuels and Energy Engineer at Sustenergy Pvt Ltd
