The “Global Energy”, Non-profit Partnership’s President is the member of “MediaTEK” Expert Council
President of the “Global Energy”, Non-profit Partnership Igor Lobovsky entered the Expert Council of All-Russian contest of the media, the press services of energy companies and regional administrations "MediaTEK." The spokesman for Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, is the head of the body. Heads of the largest federal business media, journalism departments of Russian universities, experts in the field of energy and representatives of public authorities are also in the Expert Council.
Note that the contest “MediaTEK” is supported by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and is being held in 2015 for the first time. His finalists will be determined by the members of the Expert Council, and the winners will be selected through an open online voting organized on the website of the Competition медатек.рф.
The objectives of the competition is to draw attention to the urgent issues of the fuel and energy sector, improving the quality of work of the press services of energy companies and regional administrations, as well as promotion of best corporate practices regarding providing of information the public about the reforms in the Russian energy sector.
- “MediaTEK” is a unique intellectual platform designed to not only enhance the prestige of the Russian fuel and energy complex, but also provide the public with an objective picture of the development of this industry”,- says Partnership’s President Igor Lobovsky. – “Transparency of energy information, promotion of the image of sector’s workers in and the spread of good practice in all regions of the country - these are important and interesting tasks that the contest decides. We as members of the Expert Council will have to evaluate and select the best practices. This activity is to my liking partially because since 2004 the “Global Energy”, Non-profit Partnership holds its own international media competition the “Energy of Words”. It shows the world energy trends in the mirror of the media, and annually awards the best journalists covering the most pressing energy problems. Naturally, every journalist has own views on decisions taken in the industry, but it is precisely this diversity of evaluations that contributes to the objectivity of the whole picture. So in this regard “MediaTEK” solves the same tasks and I believe the contest will be a success.”
As a recall, the timing of the online voting will be announced no later than September 15, 2015 on the website of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, and the official results will be announced at the forum ENES - 2015 which will be held in November 19-21 in Moscow.
