44 scientists from 14 countries will compete for the title of laureates of the Global Energy Prize in 2018

The acceptance of nomination applications for the Global Energy Prize has been completed for the current year. The laureates of the XVI award cycle will be selected from 44 scientists representing 14 countries. Their names will be announced on June 7.

1 000 000 rubles for energetic innovations: the application period for the Energy of Breakthrough 2018 contest is opened

On March 1, the Global Energy Association starts accepting applications for participation in the IV All-Russian competition of implemented innovative energy projects Energy of Breakthrough. Russian scientists under the age of 45 can take part in it. The main criterion is the availability of own development, implemented in production. The winner will receive a personal bonus of 1 million rubles.

Russia needs synchrotrons: Vladimir Putin supported the idea of the Global Energy Prize laureate

Yesterday, during a meeting of the Council for Science and Education, which Vladimir Putin hold in Novosibirsk, the Global Energy Prize laureate - 2016, the chairman of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences Valentin Parmon, suggested the creation of a synchrotron radiation center and a large research complex for collective use.
