The Global Energy Association and Euronews TV channel signed a new agreement of cooperation at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on May 24, 2018. It concerns strengthening the current international media partnership between the parties.

The agreement implies a joint effective cooperation on the popularization of science, knowledge in the energy sphere, as well as key initiatives implemented in the international arena under the auspices of the Global Energy Association.

According to the document, the bilateral agreement demonstrates the commitment of the parties to the comprehensive development of international energy cooperation and its objective coverage.

Kjell Stein, Euronews International Sales Director: “On behalf of Euronews, I would like to say that it is a great honor to associate the Euronews brand with the Global Energy Prize and to broadcast its values to the global audience. Today we considered at the meeting the prospect of creating a new media project in the field of energy, which could become a separate editorial program. We are pleased with the joint projects and are convinced that in the future there will be even more”.

“The Global Energy Association appreciates the cooperation with Euronews, the number one news channel in Europe and our general international media partner. Thanks to the broadcast of the prize’s awards ceremonies and the Global Energy summits, we have the opportunity in real-time mode not only to share our initiatives with the world community, but also to broadcast energy trends and the positive agenda of our country", - mentioned Alexander Ignatov, acting President of the Global Energy Association.
