The Energy of Words International Media Contest results: the winner is a journalist from Canada

"Climate skepticism has nothing to do with science," says Jeff Dembicki, a Canadian journalist and the Foreign Policy author. His article “The Convenient Disappearance of Climate Change Denial in China. From Western plot to the party line, how China embraced climate science to become a green-energy powerhouse” was named the best in The Energy of Words-2018 contest for its analytical approach, the depth of the research topic and literary skills. The winner will get his award during the Global Energy Prize Laureates Week in early October.

Valentin Parmon: "Akademgorodok 2.0 will create new clusters for unification of science, education and industrial production"

President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin along with Acting Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrey Travnikov and the SB RAS Chairman, the Global Energy Prize-2011 laureate Valentin Parmon, discussed the development of the Novosibirsk Science Center "Akademgorodok 2.0" at the 6th International Forum of Technological Development "Technoprom-2018" in Novosibirsk.

The Global Energy Association to support the Energy of Youth Forum - 2018

The Global Energy Association will take part in the VIII Interregional Summer Education Forum the Energy of Youth in Kislovodsk, held during August 24-30, 2018. On the first day, the association organizes a discussion board themed "Popular Science. An Image of a Modern Young Scientist "as well as participates in a number of other events.

The winner of the Energy of Breakthrough will get one million rubles for protecting the environment from harmful emissions

The Global Energy Association summed up the results of the IV All-Russian contest of implemented innovative projects in the field of energy, The Energy of Breakthrough. This year’s winner is a young scientist from St Petersburg Alexey Trinchenko. He will receive an award in the amount of one million rubles for providing a scientific base for the efficiency of reducing the number of harmful substances during the combustion of solid fuel (coal, peat, oil shale) and increasing the reliability of furnaces and boilers at thermal electric power plants.
