SPIEF-2019: Cooperation on Agreement between the Global Energy Association and MGIMO
On June, 7 as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF-2019), the Global Energy Association signed the agreement on cooperation with one of the leading universities of Russia, the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO University).
The signing ceremony was attended by acting President of the Global Energy Association Alexander Ignatov, Rector of MGIMO Anatoly Torkunov and Director of MIEP MGIMO Valery Salygin.
Terms of partnership include lectures of laureates, experts and members of the Global Energy Prize International Award Committee, master classes for students and postgraduates of MIEP MGIMO, exchange of information and expertise in areas of joint activities.
The Global Energy Association will assist MIEP MGIMO in communication with academic institutions and organizations. Also, the Association will participate in the research programs of the University on actual problems of the sphere of energy industry.
The University, in turn, will provide the Association with access to its information resources in the areas of cooperation, and will also contribute to increasing interest on the part of University students in the Association`s programs.
Recall that the Global Energy Association and MGIMO united by many years of joint work. Every year the University holds the lectures within the framework of the Energy of Knowledge Program. This is a series of interactive lectures of the Global Energy Prize laureates and other outstanding experts in the field of energy. Its purpose is to attract the attention of young audience to the issues of global energy and to inspire scientific research in the industry.
