Oleg Borisov is elected Vice President for Interaction with Energy Companies in the Global Energy Association, the position initiated by its co-founders.
After his appointment, Mr Borisov said he considers internationalising the Association’s activities his primary goal, which implies attracting new international partners, possibly extending the Board of Trustees, as well as building new mutually beneficial relations with foreign energy companies.
“I believe this will become a significant step in building an open and meaningful dialogue with all the parties involved – co-founders, Prize laureates, participants of Association’s programmes, international energy experts, and media and NGOs representatives. I would like to thank our co-founders for their vote of confidence and presenting me an opportunity to contribute to the development of the Global Energy Association, the international energy project with an enormous potential”, said Mr Borisov.
Oleg Borisov was born in 1984. He graduated from the sociology faculty of St. Petersburg University. His earlier workplaces include business structures and the administration of Saint Petersburg. Mr Borisov became the Vice President of the Association after working as Deputy CEO of Energoeffektivnost Company.
