Capex for the WPP (windpower plant) construction in Russia is below the world average

Capital expenditures are necessary for the wind power plant (WPP) construction in Russia, fell below the world average. This was possible by the localization of wind turbine production. According to market participants, projects based on renewable energy sources (RES) have a great future, not only in the wind, but also in the sun.

Russia's strategy for the renewable energy development is partially included in the energy Strategy Project for the period up to 2035, but there is no document, which would set any goals for "green" investments. On the one hand, this is due to the country's large reserves of hydrocarbon sources, including natural gas, which can compete in price and environmental friendliness with the most advanced renewable energy projects. On the other hand, green energy in Russia has just embarked on the path of development and at this stage it needs public investment in any case.
