2019. The Global Energy Award Shortlist Includes Six Countries
The organizers note that starting this year the winners will be selected in three categories: traditional energy, non traditional energy and new ways of energy application
Fifteen scientists from six countries entered the shortlist of applicants for the Global Energy Energy Award. Among the nominees are representatives from Russia, Great Britain, Denmark, China, the Netherlands and the USA, the press service of the Global Energy Association said on Monday.
39 scientists from 12 countries took part in the struggle for the award in the 17th Global Energy Prize nomination cycle. A short list of candidates for victory was compiled based on the assessments of international experts Starting this year, the prize will be awarded in three categories: traditional energy, non traditional energy and new ways of energy application. The short list included five applicants in each of the nominations.
Most of the submissions for the award went to the nomination ‘Traditional Energy’, the second place was taken by the ‘Alternative Energy’, and the nomination ‘New ways of using energy’ closed the top three in terms of the number of applications received.
